This old favourite returns but with a difference and we have a winner !!
Steve Booth presented a talk entitled "Stone and the Impact of World War Two (1939 -1945)" on Wednesday 9 June 2021 at 7.30pm.
There was no entry fee but any donations to the Festival were very welcome.
This year we are unable to have our usual dog show during Festival Week so have decided to have one on Facebook instead.
You can see the 10 class winners from our photographic dog competition 2021 here as well as the Best in Show »
Bring the pub quiz to your home with Stone Festival's virtual quiz. The winning team declared on the night was entered by Sandie Potter. The team had gathered (socially distanced) in her garden, and comprised various friends and family (some of who were also Stone Rotary members).
We must thank Quizmaster John Lockley, and Sophie Rogerson for compiling the questions.
The Stone and District Swimming Club are supporting this year's virtual Stone Festival by creating an in-house competition to support local good causes.
The Club has three houses (Neptune, Kraken and Poseidon), which will each be supporting a cause, by means of a continuous relay on the Monday 7 June 2021. The house that completes the most laps will have the money it raised topped up by our Club sponsors Triband Care Services ».
